Medical Mission Trips: Volunteers Needed, Grants Available

The Making a Difference Foundation is partnering with several nonprofit organizations who need volunteer healthcare providers to join medical mission trips throughout the world. If you are interested, we want to help! If you are a licensed medical provider who wants to deliver healthcare and make a difference to communities in need, you may be eligible for a $2,000 grant to join one of several medical mission trip opportunities listed below.

Southern India 10/26/25 – 11/02/25
Global First Responder: This trip will focus on medical/dental care, health education, and sustainability. Click here to learn more about this trip and to apply for consideration.

Nigeria 10/08/25 – 11/06/25
VOOM Foundation: These trips focus on open-heart surgery and family medicine. Volunteers can apply for 1 or 2 weeks. Click here to apply and learn more.

Switzerland 10/12/25 – 10/18/25
International Medical Relief: Provide healthcare to displaced Ukrainians in need. Click here to learn more and apply.

Grant Information

To help offset the program costs of these trips, the Making a Difference Foundation will provide $2,000 financial grants to a limited number of healthcare providers selected to participate. Grants will be paid directly to the nonprofit organization. Please make sure to mention that you heard about these trip opportunities through the Making a Difference Foundation in order to be eligible for a grant.
