The Making a Difference Foundation has had the opportunity to help providers in delivering healthcare and healthcare education to under-served communities all over the globe.
But, it wouldn’t be possible without our trusted partners. We work with world-class nonprofits who are experts in facilitating medical mission trips in multiple countries around the globe. Their expertise in effectively running clinics on the ground and coordinating logistics behind the scenes is the reason our providers can deliver care far and wide.
Project C.U.R.E. is one of those trusted partners.
Project C.U.R.E. is the largest provider of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world. In the fall of 2018 the Making a Difference Foundation had the opportunity to visit the Project C.U.R.E. headquarters in Denver, Colorado to tour one of their six warehouses.
The warehouse was huge! With rows and rows of donated items. Project C.U.R.E. has a large army of dedicated volunteers who package the supplies in cargo containers – roughly the size of semi-trailers. These containers then set sail to under-resourced hospitals, clinics, and community health centers.

In February of 2019 the foundation sent four nurses from Foundation Medical Staffing to Panama. Our nurses served alongside medical and non-medical volunteers from the US, in addition to local healthcare professionals. They were able to share their knowledge and best practices, all the while seeing almost 1,000 patients in 4 days – it was an incredibly rewarding experience.
We at the Making a Difference Foundation are grateful for our extraordinary partners like Project C.U.R.E., without whom, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
