About A Broader View Volunteers: A Broader View is a USA based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. They offer a unique medical immersion experience for volunteers with flexible dates and length of trips. Volunteers can choose trips that range from one week to two months. Finding a location, project, and date to volunteer with these projects is up to the individual and A Broader View is available to help individuals and groups navigate this process.

About the mission: Based in Ulaanbaatar, project sites include a state-run government hospital with 75 inpatient bed as well as a large maternity woman health hospital located in the capital.  The hospital services provide childbirth, gynecology, maternity and newborn care needs. Volunteers will focus in areas of pre-natal, post-natal care and the delivery room. Volunteers can assist in the neonatal NICU, assist with administering vaccines to babies, assisting with woman’s surgeries such as hysterectomy, tubal ligations and C-section deliveries.

ABV Programs Include: Homestay accommodations, 3 meals per day, airport transfers on arrival/departure in Ulaanbaatar, cultural activities and optional tours available.
