Join the International Medical Relief response team in Warsaw, Poland still hard at work providing education, medical services and building medical literacy at the accommodation center for displaced Ukrainians.
About the non-profit: International Medical Relief (IMR) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides health care to under-served and vulnerable people around the world. IMR recruits qualified medical, dental, and surgical teams and offers short-term assignments for volunteer doctors, dentists, and other health care professionals to conduct medical clinics in areas where medical care is limited or difficult to obtain.
About the clinic: Services will be provided at the accommodation center for displaced Ukrainians in Warsaw, Poland.
About the mission: Patients come in with a variety of complaints such as GI issues, wounds that need be dressed, headaches, pain, anxiety, and dehydration. Your role is to treat these patients and teach them how they can take control of their health. IMR is looking for compassionate, caring individuals willing to participate in a week-long medical mission to support the Ukraine refugees who have experienced incredible losses on multiple levels.
Financial grants available: The Making a Difference Foundation has committed up to $100,000 in financial grants to support medical providers who want to travel with IMR to Warsaw to help in this crisis. Financial grants up to $2,000 for PA’s, NP’s and MD’s and $2,600 for nurses to help cover the program costs are available. If you would like to receive a financial grant, please apply today.
