About the non-profit: Remote Area Medical (RAM) is a major nonprofit provider of free pop-up clinics. Their mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free, quality healthcare to those in need. They do this by delivering free dental, vision and medical services to underserved and uninsured individuals. Since RAM was founded in 1985, nearly 183,000 volunteers – comprised of professional practitioners, as well as general support staff – have treated more than 888,000 individuals delivering more than $181.5 million worth of free healthcare services. delivering more than $174 million worth of free care.

About the clinic: A typical clinic day begins around 5:00 – 5:30 a.m. and ends between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. The final day of the clinic will end between noon and 3:00 p.m. followed by a final breakdown of equipment that finishes around 5:00 p.m. Every clinic is different and detailed information will be provided once you register.
