About the country:  Quito, the capital city of Ecuador has a population over 2 million people and is located high in the Andes mountains. The city is vividly situated, squeezed between mountain peaks and surrounded with modern apartment buildings and peaceful neighborhoods. Ecuador has a reputation of being tourist friendly, home to many ex-patriots and they use the US currency.

About the clinic: Medical providers will be working at a downtown Centro de Salud, at an elderly care home, center providing care and therapy for special needs children. In public clinics, even in the city, there is a deficit of doctors and staff in general that provide care to patients who come to the health post. The focus is the treatment of common diseases, care of births, accidents, or other diseases where specialties are required.

ABV Programs Include: Homestay accommodations, 3 meals per day, airport transfers on arrival/departure in Quito, cultural activities and optional tours available.
