Date: April 26 – May 5, 2019
Partner: Project C.U.R.E.
About Project C.U.R.E: Project C.U.R.E. has several aid programs meeting the medical needs of communities around the world. At times they ship in semi-trailer-sized cargo containers full of medical donations for under-resourced hospitals. Other times volunteers bring C.U.R.E. kits that are suitcase sized kits of basic medical supplies that can easily be transported. All include critical supplies that are desperately lacking in clinics in developing countries.
About the country: Paraguay is a country with remarkable contrasts; its rustic and sophisticated; extremely poor and obscenely wealthy; it’s a place where horses and carts pull up alongside Mercedes-Benz vehicles. A country that does not have a lot of tourists and is therefore extremely grateful for any outside assistance tackling healthcare issues.
About the mission: Volunteers will be working in remote areas helping with pop-up clinics, offering medical support, services and education. Come serve alongside local medical professionals, sharing knowledge and best practices, while experiencing local culture and making a lasting impact.
