About the country:

In Nigeria, a patient has a 0.00006% chance of receiving open-heart surgery.  With almost half the country’s 230M in population living in poverty, and the current economic crisis within the country, patients are unable to afford open-heart surgery which eventually leads to their demise. The Voom Foundation helps provide this needed care to Nigerian patients.

About Voom Foundation

VOOM Foundation’s mission is to train and educate local in-country medical staff with a goal to provide sustainable health programs based on quality while treating the poor and vulnerable.  We have been in Nigeria performing open-heart medical missions since 2013.  VOOM Foundation works to address all aspects of healthcare.
