What does it look like for a family in Utah when they don’t have insurance or access to medical care? In January, the Making a Difference Foundation staff, officers, and board members got to see firsthand not only what it looks like, but what it feels like when touring the Maliheh Free Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. It wasn’t at all what we expected. Light, airy patient rooms, a friendly staff moving mountains, and an army of volunteers. The Maliheh Free Clinic believes that everyone should have access to good, quality medical care. And so do we! The Maliheh Free Clinic is just one of the organizations the foundation supports through our Sustainable Healthcare Grant program.
Sustainable Healthcare Grant Program
We are committed to helping communities in our own backyard and supporting access to medical care.
That is why we developed Sustainable Healthcare Grants to provide multi-year financial support to nonprofit organizations that are providing direct healthcare services to underserved communities in the locations where CHG Healthcare has offices.
Sustainable Healthcare Grant Partners
The Sustainable Healthcare Grant program has been in effect since 2019. This year, the Making a Difference Foundation will partner with five organizations, donating $75,000 to help them provide these services. We are proud to partner with the following organizations:
- People’s Health Clinic – Park City, UT
- Maliheh Free Clinic – Millcreek, UT
- Seager Memorial Clinic – Ogden, UT
- Caridad Center – Boynton Beach, FL
- Lincoln Community Health Center – Durham, NC
Thank you for helping us make a difference!
