About the Mission: Medical volunteers will be setting up pop-up clinics in various remote communities and providing acute, primary care and education to local populations. Each day, you will travel by canoe to remote communities, bringing all of your supplies with you. Each evening, you will return to an off-the-grid dorm facility. This will be a difficult and adventurous experience.
About Panama: Panama is a Spanish speaking, Central American country, known for the Panama Canal. Colonized by Spain in the 16th Century, Panama ultimately gained its independence in 1903. Panama has a rich geography, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean, plus mountains that form the Continental Divide. It’s a tropical climate, with temperatures and humidity remaining at a constant high year-round.

The program costs include staying at an off-the-grid dorm facility, meals, and boat transportation once you arrive in country.
