LA Wildfires – Disaster Relief

As many of you have seen, wildfires have recently spread across Los Angeles, California and have caused widespread devastation, destroyed thousands of acres and structures, and displaced entire communities. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this disaster.

The Making a Difference Foundation is responding to the LA wildfires through our Disaster Relief Program.  After carefully assessing the situation, we have identified and vetted several nonprofit organizations that are providing a variety of essential resources to impacted areas. In total, the foundation is directing $25,000 in relief funding to the following organizations: Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, World Central Kitchen, International Medical Corps, and the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation. These nonprofits are providing critical support, including food, healthcare, and supplies to evacuees and first responders.

We understand that recovery efforts will be ongoing, which is why we are dedicated to continuing to monitor the situation and providing additional support as needed.

If you are interested in donating to organizations you can trust, we encourage you to consider contributing to one of the following:

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make a difference in communities around the world.
