Over the past few weeks, Hurricanes Helene and Milton have brought widespread devastation to several communities throughout multiple states in the eastern United States. These disasters have displaced families, damaged infrastructure and disrupted entire communities. Our thoughts are with those impacted by these events and we are committed to supporting them in this time of need.
Through its Disaster Relief program, the Making a Difference Foundation is providing support to communities affected by these hurricanes. We have vetted several nonprofit organizations that are leading relief efforts in impacted areas. The Making a Difference Foundation is directing $40,000 to nonprofits that are providing essential resources, including shelter, food, healthcare, and more. Not only are these organizations addressing immediate needs, but also long-term recovery efforts.
